We are excited to share an exciting new opportunity to offer students at your school computer science!
Code.org is piloting a new Foundations of Computer Science curriculum that will be offered to schools and districts at no cost. we are offering a free, virtual two-day teacher training that will take place on Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. CDT to prepare teachers to teach this course.
The one-semester curriculum teaches high school students the basics of programming, dives into how the Internet functions, and has them create their own projects that could solve real-world problems.
This course uses our App Lab and micro:bits so students can explore the same hardware inputs and outputs as smart devices.
