Join Jo Boaler, Cathy Williams, and the youcubed team for a two-day live online workshop on teaching with a data flair across grades K-9.

Come and learn from the youcubed team as we share new ideas for bringing data into your teaching across the grades, starting from the youngest learners all the way up to the early years of high school. This does not mean teaching new content, it means teaching with a data flair, helping mathematical ideas come alive with real data. Jo & Cathy will launch their new book: Data Minds and give a special offer for attendees. You will learn how to teach data investigations, see examples from teachers and students, and generally become data empowered with ideas that you can take and use in your classrooms immediately.

The workshop begins at 10:30 a.m. CDT and ends at 5:30 p.m. CDT each day. Participants will receive a digital credential verifying 10 Professional Development Hours (1 CEU).

All sales are final. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to review. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
We no longer accept payment by purchase order/check, registration is only available by credit card.

Please note that each participant must log into the workshop individually, from their own device, to be admitted to the workshop. We encourage teams of educators from the same school or district to participate in the workshop together, and we offer discounted tickets for groups of 2 or more, but to be admitted to the Zoom each team member must have a ticket associated with their name. If multiple people from your school or district are planning to attend this workshop, please create a group order using the "Get Tickets" button on this page, and add the number of people attending to your cart. You will then be prompted to provide information about the attendees during checkout, which will enable them to each be admitted individually to the workshop.

All registered participants will receive an email one week before the workshop with a Zoom link and password. After the event, we will provide a recording and a link to all slides or other resources used in the workshop . This post-workshop email will be sent to all registered participants, regardless of whether they logged into the event (so even participants who aren’t able to attend the event live on the scheduled dates will still receive the recording and workshop materials) and will be available up to one year after the event.
