The LDRF Reading Room is one of the temporary library locations during renovations.

After 53 years of operation, the C.Y. Thompson Library is getting a renovation. The 1960’s building was in need of a modern update to accommodate for today's student needs. The library’s renovations will be centered around a more technology based learning environment with a small collection of books, a small testing center and a learning commons with a coffee shop on the main floor. The renovation project is to be completed before spring 2021. During this time, the C.Y. Thompson has designated temporary library spaces available for students. During the month of September, students can visit the LDRF Reading Room to view reserved course materials, pick up delivery materials or study. In October these services will move to Filley Hall in the old Dairy Store location where they will stay until the project’s completion.
