Vaccinations to be available on-campus

Vaccination is one of the most effective tools to protect yourself and our Husker community. COVID vaccines are safe and have been shown to be highly effective at preventing COVID-19 according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As the semester begins, the university is providing a number of opportunities for students, faculty and staff to get a COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Walk-up clinics will be held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 15–19 at the Devaney Center (1600 Court St.). These clinics are open to any member of the university community and are being held in conjunction with the moving check-in for residence halls and sororities.

  • Walk-up clinics will be held on the plazas outside the Nebraska Union and Nebraska East Union, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., August 25 & 26.

In addition, the University Health Center will offer walk-up vaccination opportunities during clinic hours starting August 16.
