University of Nebraska–Lincoln student clubs and orgs will make $65 per member who works in the concession stands April 9 in Memorial Stadium during the Spring Football Game.
Each RSOs will be required to provide a minimum of 5 workers, but larger groups in increments of 5 (10, 15, 20) will be accepted. Earned funds will be deposited directly into the RSO's SOFS account.
Volunteers will report 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. The average commitment is a 7-hour per football game, typically finishing within 30 minutes of the end of the game.
DETAILS
• Groups will work in a concession stand at Memorial Stadium.
• Each RSO needs to provide two main contacts for communication.
• Online training will be provided.
• Food item and drink provided.
DRESS CODE
• Huskers shirt (Red Preferred). If not, then a plain red, white, or a solid shirt. You are not allowed to wear a shirt with any other sports team. You may not display logos of a direct competitor of Adidas (Ex: Nike, Under Armour, etc.).
• Jeans with no holes. Khaki shorts that are appropriate length.
• Closed-toe shoes only. It's suggested to wear comfortable shoes since workers will be standing on concrete.
JOB DUTIES
• Assist stand manager in counting inventory, setting up the stand, stocking and preparing to open for business.
• Greet guests, take orders, gather items, collect money and thank guests.
• There is no cash register system. There are credit card machines at most stands.
• The job is fast-paced and is fun when working as a team to provide the best service.
• Assist in closing the stand. This includes cleaning, counting inventory and organizing.
