Huskers and RSOs can connect with service opportunities to help the Lincoln community. Join fellow Huskers this month by volunteering at nonprofits in Lincoln connected to addressing community needs.

From February 26 – March 1, 2024, UNL students are invited to join with Student Leadership, Involvement, & Community Engagement to volunteer for a handful of hours at the city's community & recreation centers.

The city's Park & Recreation Department manages community and recreation centers in numerous locations dotted around Lincoln. Each center provides amenities, programs and classes that are "FUNdamental" to active living and development for youth and adults in Lincoln.

Help area residents grow, connect and contribute to our community. Students can help with facilitating activities for youth, sorting donations and cleaning.

February 27, 2024 | 3 to 5 p.m.

The mission of the Belmont Community Center is to identify and define the social, cultural, recreational and educational needs of the residents of the Northwest Lincoln community and to cooperate in meeting these needs by establishing programs and services.
