The ASUN Graduate Student Assembly is very excited to announce a new program to support graduate students at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

In an effort to promote additional programming for graduate student professional development and networking, the ASUN Graduate Student Assembly is awarding $2,500 in grants (up to $1,000 each) to activities, events or projects organized by graduate students. Examples of activities that may be supported include research symposiums, educational field trips, visiting scholars and workshops.

Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis following four criteria: impact, need for the project, preparation, and financial need/co-sponsorship. Graduate students will need to submit a description, agenda, and budget that describes how their proposed activity contributes to graduate student professional development, specifically addressing the four evaluation criteria. Applications will be reviewed by the Committee for Professional Development on GSA.
