On the first Wednesday of each month at approximately 10:15 a.m., the city of Lincoln tests all tornado-warning systems. Tests take no longer than five minutes. There is no need to seek shelter during these tests. Systems will not be tested if there is a threat of severe weather or temperatures are below freezing.
