Frying an egg is easy, isn't it? Learn kitchen survival techniques by attending Cooking 101. Taught by UNL Culinology students, this three-class workshop series is for students who want to balance flavor, cost and nutrition in simple meal preparation. Transform basic ingredients into culinary experiences by adding fresh, seasonal vegetables and international spices to that package of ramen noodles. Learn how to use simple ingredients to prepare healthy and inexpensive meals.
Workshop dates and times are Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the East Union Terraces. Attend all three sessions for $15 or individual sessions for $7.50.
