Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters… the 2018 Opera Scenes program “Family Matters” explores family relationships in opera. The performance will take place on Wednesday, April 25 at 4 p.m. in the Glenn Korff School of Music’s Westbrook Recital Hall.
From loss, to love, to frustration, to vengeance, there is some facet of the family that each audience member will recognize. Scenes include excerpts from Adamo’s Little Women, Mozart’s Idomeneo, Weber’s Der Freischütz, and Rossini’s Guillaume Tell.
The performance is free and open to the public.
