Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $30,000 along with a $10,500 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees, and a one-time $1,000 international travel allowance.

Information sessions on preparing an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship application are 3 p.m., Oct. 13 and 1 p.m., Oct. 14. Both sessions are in 206 Seaton Hall. Individual meetings are also available.

The deadlines for the NSF fellowships range from Nov. 15 - Nov. 22.

Eligible students must: be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; have not completed more than one year of graduate coursework; and be pursuing research-based masters or doctorate in an NSF-supported field.

The NSF accepts applications from all qualified students and encourages under-represented populations - including women, under-represented racial and ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities - to apply for this fellowship.
