2019 Arts Advocacy Day at UNL

On Wednesday, March 13th the Lied Center for Performing Arts will host the 2019 Arts Advocacy Day at UNL. The event is scheduled to take place in the Lied Center Commons from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Throughout the day, participants will be able to learn more about statewide arts advocacy efforts and write letters to their state representative thanking them for their support of the arts. Additionally, Professor Eddie Dominguez from the School of Art, Art History, and Design will lead attendees in a community arts activity. Performances and presentations will take place throughout the day, featuring Nebraska Steel, Cinema 16, Theatrix, and more. The event is a collaboration between Nebraskans for the Arts, the Hixson-Lied Undergraduate Student Advisory Board, and the Lied Center Student Council.
