Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI) offers intellectually rich graduate coursework in a variety of formats and in a condensed schedule that works with teachers' summer schedule. NMSSI is offering four science courses this summer and it's not too late to enroll!
2025 Summer Science Courses
• BIOS 891: Evolution in Action, June 9-13, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (on Zoom, with breaks)
• GEOS 898: Weather, Climate and Climate Change, July 7-11, 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (on Zoom, with breaks)
• GEOS 898: Methods in Geoscience Field Course Instruction, June 14-29, In-person field experience.
• TEAC 864: The Nature of Science in Science Teaching, June 10-July 12 (5 weeks), Hybrid Online

Nebraska teachers automatically qualify for a 20% tuition discount for all courses. The School of Biological Sciences has generously committed $300 fellowships to the first eight teachers who sign up for the BIOS 891 course.
