The Arts for the Soul Music & Fine Arts Series is pleased to announce the next concert of the 2019-2020 season with "Sing from the Heart—Family Concert: Childhood Memories," on Sunday, Nov 17, 3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 840 S. 17th Street.

This year this annual dessert concert & charity fundraiser is a family-oriented event, complete with ice cream, child-themed music, captivating storyteller Pippa White, and a shortened, kid-friendly program.

Ticket prices have also been lowered to encourage families with children to attend, but don’t think this is just for kids! There will be great music for everyone.

There will also be a freewill offering taken for HopeSpoke (formerly the Child Guidance Center) whose mission is to inspire healthy futures for children and their families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services.

Special guest storyteller Pippa White calls her One’s Company Productions “part theatre, part storytelling, part history.” Audiences call them unique, captivating, and touching. To date she has crisscrossed the country many times as a professional storyteller, touring to over 30 states, performing at universities and colleges, conferences, performing arts centers, museums, libraries, and festivals.

Ticket prices are: $5 for all ages over 12, (12 & under are free). For further information contact First Presbyterian Church at (402) 477-6037, or go to the church website at: http://fpclincoln.org/ and click on Arts for the Soul.

Tickets may also be purchased at the church Mon.-Thurs. from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday 8 to noon by check or cash, or online with a credit card or PayPal account. Also available at the door the afternoon of the concert if tickets remain.
