Blue or red? It’s not politics – it’s baseball! Let’s venture up to TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha to cheer on our favorite teams as they square off on the diamond. This will be the third of three match-ups between UNL and Creighton this year and it’s sure to be exciting.
Creighton has one of the most experienced pitching teams in the Big East this year and UNL’s pitchers are mostly returning key players.
The motorcoach will head to the ballpark with plenty of time to pick up a hot dog, some popcorn and a beverage before the 7 p.m. first pitch.
Registration Deadline: Friday, April 21
Event Day/Date: Wednesday, May 10
Time: Our motorcoach will depart promptly at 5 p.m. from Gateway Mall parking lot just north of Younker’s parking deck. Personal vehicles can be parked in this location for the duration of the trip. The bus will arrive back in Lincoln after the conclusion of the game.
Cost: The $35 cost includes game ticket and transportation. Food at the ballpark is on your own. Registration is required. Cancellation after the registration deadline date will be non-refundable. Please contact the OLLI office if you have specific dietary restrictions.
