Angels Theatre Company: First Flight Festival 2017

The Angels Theatre Company’s First Festival 2017 begins on Wednesday, July 19 and runs until Saturday, July 29. All of the 24 plays in this Festival are written by local member playwrights of the Angels Play Writing Collective. The plays will be performed in UNL’s Studio Theatre located on the first floor of the Temple Building, 12th and R Streets.

There are too many plays to see in one sitting, so the Festival is divided into flights A, B & C. The plays to be performed are listed on the Angels Theatre Company website.

You may recognize some over the age of 50 involved in this year’s festival: Judy Hart, Al Davis, Cherie Frederick, Chet Kincaid, Constance Howard, Diane Gonzolas, Dwight Johns, Elaine Monnier, Harry Heafer, Joan Hudson, Cecilia and John Burkhart, LauraLee Woodruff, Leta Powell Drake, Margaret Minary, Barb and Mike Keating, MJ Dunn, Norm Simon, Paul Burrow, Paula Ray, Sandy Van Pelt and Steve Enersen.

Tickets are $15 per flight or $25 for a Festival pass (admission into all 3 Flights).

Discounts are available for OLLI members and students: $10 per Flight and $19 for a Festival pass.
