Last Call: Behind the Curtain at the Playhouse

Backstage at the Playhouse

“You come in off the street, through the doors of the theatre. You sit down. The lights go down and the curtain goes up. And you're in another world.” -Robert Caro, Pulitzer Prize winner, American journalist and author.

You’ve seen what happens on stage when the lights are bright, but do you know what goes on before opening night, off stage during a show or after a show closes? Don’t miss this special opportunity to take a peek at the inner workings of a vibrant, active community theatre.

Join us for dinner on stage at the Lincoln Community Playhouse (LCP). Morrie Enders, LCP’s executive director, will share the history of community theatre and LCP and lead us on a backstage tour of the theatre building, including a peek at “Camelot” rehearsal in progress. We may even be treated to a preview of “Camelot’s” music.
