The Arts for the Soul Music & Fine Arts Series at First Presbyterian Church, 840 S. 17th St., Lincoln, is pleased to announce the first concert of the 2017-18 season on Saturday, Sept 30, 7:00 p.m., featuring the award-winning group Women of the World.
Women of the World is an award-winning international a cappella vocal quartet that performs original and traditional folk music with a contemporary twist, in 30 languages. Mentored by Grammy Award-winning vocalist Bobby McFerrin, they create music that is borderless and carries the undeniable message of unity and peace. The week prior to their Lincoln concert they will be one of eight groups competing in the finals of the A Cappella Open contest at Carnegie Hall!
