In place of an August open house, plan to come to a “showcase” of OLLI courses. You can sample mini-courses taught by OLLI instructors, explore fascinating subjects and meet like-minded people. A reception will round out the afternoon. More later.
The OLLI office is now receiving print overruns of the OLLI catalog. Stop by the OLLI office and pick up a few catalogs to distribute to your friends, neighbors, to your favorite coffee shop and other locations around town.
This class, originally scheduled in February, was canceled due to weather. It has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2:30-4:30 p.m., at Pioneers Park. Sherri Jones, chair of the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders, has been named dean of UNL’s College of Education and Human Sciences. Jones will begin her appointment July 1. She was chosen following a national search. OLLI at UNL is an outreach program of the College of Education and Human Sciences.
Alasdair Fraser was first on the Arts for the Soul series in the spring of 2014, creating an evening of energy and joy that was talked about long afterward.
