Spring Affair plant sale is April 27
The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum's annual Spring Affair plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 27 at the Lancaster Event Center, 4100 N. 84th Street. The event will feature more than 800 varieties of plants, two lectures and garden-related vendors.

Monthly walking tours of green spaces on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's East Campus are being held the first Tuesday of each month through November.
LFCM presents world premiere of "Time and River"
"Time and River" is newly commissioned chamber music for nine instruments, inspired by and incorporating photos from the Platte River basin time-lapse photographic project. OLLI members can purchase "2 for 1" tickets on the night of the concert at the door- 2 persons can attend for $15, plus fees.
