UNL Study for Adults with Normal Hearing

The UNL Cochlear Implant Research Lab is conducting a research study to learn more about how adults with cochlear implants perform on a cognitive screening test, compared to adults with normal hearing. Cognitive screening tests measure thinking and memory skills. This study is called “Cognitive Screening for Adults with Normal Hearing.” You would need to:

• Complete a hearing screening test and a brief cognitive screening test
• Visit once, less than 1 hour
• Be age 50 and older
• Have normal hearing and are native speakers of American English

Compensation for the study is $15.

This study will take place in the Cochlear Implant Research Lab located in Room 127 of the Barkley Memorial Center on UNL’s East Campus.
