Congratulations to the newly elected members to the OLLI Advisory Council. Peter Levitov and De Tonack will serve as representatives for three-year terms. Joe Seewald will serve as chair of the Council for the next year.
Peter Levitov has been active in OLLI for several years, teaching and facilitating many courses, serving on committees, helping to organize the fall symposium and co-moderating the monthly OLLI international affairs discussion group. He formerly worked in the UNL’s international educational exchange program for 40 years and retired as emeritus associate dean of international affairs.
De Tonack has facilitated and organized OLLI classes for the last several years. She is a long-time educator having taught middle school, high school and college in areas stretching from mathematics to physics.
