Grover Cleveland Alexander, an Elba, Neb. Native, was arguably the greatest Major League Baseball pitcher ever. He won 373 games with the Philadelphia Phillies, the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched from 1911 through 1930, and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, in 1938.
Join us for a day trip to St. Paul for Grover Cleveland Alexander Days on Saturday, July 6. We’ll visit his grave site and tour the spectacular Museum of Nebraska Major League Baseball.
Learn about his baseball career, his distinguished World War I record, his work with Nebraska youth through American Legion baseball and the tragic end of his life in St. Paul, Neb., where he died in 1950.

Location: Bus will promptly depart from Gateway Mall parking lot just north of Younker’s parking deck. Personal vehicles can be parked in this location for the duration of the trip. The bus will arrive back in Lincoln by 5 p.m.
Cost: $45 includes transportation. Food in St. Paul is on your own. Registration is required. Cancellation after the registration deadline will be non-refundable.
