This course should enhance your enjoyment of orchestral music by covering the history and development of the concerto form, using selections from Dr. Robert Greenberg’s course of the same name from the “Great Courses” DVD series. For those who have taken previous music courses, an attempt will be made to synthesize what has been previously learned. Ample attention will be given to explanation and review for those new to this series, so previous attendance is not necessary.
