The fall semester is in full force and Huskers have been actively pursuing their career goals. We added up the numbers and found so far this semester, Career Services has provided 1,437 scheduled or walk-in student coaching sessions, 10,538 jobs posted on Handshake, 4 full days of career fairs, 413 employers represented at those fairs, and 813 on-campus interviews conducted with 95 employers.
Phew! And while this seems like a lot, we're just getting started. We have more career fairs, employer interviews, coaching sessions and special events in the works — which is why you should encourage your student to stop by Career Services today! Our Career Coaches can help them wherever they are in their career journey, whether it is determining career goals, searching and applying for an internship or full-time job, or developing grad school applications.
Soon enough, the fall semester will wind down, but working towards career goals is ongoing. Your student can start and keep their momentum going with the support of Career Services.
