Students can build community and support one another through the Collegiate Recovery Community in Husker Hall.
Students can build community and support one another through the Collegiate Recovery Community in Husker Hall.

Collegiate Recovery Communities create a place for students in recovery from substance use to grow and support one another throughout the university journey. After over a year of planning, Husker Hall will open to students in recovery in Fall 2021.

Husker Hall will be a welcoming environment for students in recovery and offer a supportive environment. There, residents will enjoy weekly meetings on important topics, engage in social activities and take part in special events that highlight the importance of community and well-being. Students in recovery face unique challenges, and this environment will help them thrive together as a group.

Scholarships beginning at $500 are available to increase access to this great opportunity. If you believe your student would benefit from joining the community, please visit https://resilience.unl.edu/recovery for more information.
