The University of Nebraska–Lincoln conferred 3,683 degrees during commencement exercises May 3, 16 and 17. The degrees were earned by 3,593 graduates from 57 countries, 46 U.S. states and 250-plus Nebraska communities.
During a spring semester ceremony, the Parent & Family Association recognized 72 individuals who have made a significant difference in students' lives. Two instructors were singled out for 10-year recognition and another two individuals were honored for 5 years.
Chancellor’s Scholars are students who have maintained 4.0 grade-point averages on all collegiate work at Nebraska and elsewhere. A record 110 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students were recognized as Chancellor’s Scholars during the undergraduate commencement ceremonies in May.
