Finals week will be December 10 - 14. Parents may want to encourage students to verify the date, time and location of their final exams. Many students may not realize that finals may be during a different time or location than their regularly scheduled class. Being prepared can make finals go much better!
Once students are finished with finals, it is time for winter break. UNL winter break is December 15 - January 6. While your student is home over break, please take time to talk with him or her about their first semester – what went well, what could have gone better, what they might do differently in the upcoming semester. It's not too early to start next semester off on a positive note. We hope you all enjoy the winter break.
