Student Engagement Survey.JPG

The majority of UNL students who participate in campus activities and/or organizations agree that as a result of their campus involvement they are more satisfied with their college experience, have more insight into their future career, have developed skills they will use after college, and feel they have a stronger connection to the campus community, according to the UNL Student Affairs 2013 Student Engagement Survey (click on the link to view the complete results of this survey: http://www.unl.edu/smmc/assessment-test).

UNL Student Affairs staff designed and implemented this campus-wide survey to learn more about students’ level of engagement and involvement, as well as to help parents gain insight into students’ levels of satisfaction in their out-of-classroom UNL experiences and how students’ lives are positively impacted through their campus involvement.

Highlights of the survey included:

"As a result of participating in campus activities and/or organizations...."
• 85.66% of respondents strongly agree or somewhat agree that their "satisfaction with my collegiate experience has improved".
• 77.05% of respondents strongly agree or somewhat agree that they "have more insight into my future career".
• 88.12% of respondents strongly agree or somewhat agree that they "have developed skills that I will use after college".
• 84.01% of respondents strongly agree or somewhat agree that they "feel part of the campus community".
