Academic Support and Higher GPAs from Students Living in Residence Halls

Students who live in UNL residence halls had higher GPAs and were more likely to graduate. This data from a UNL Student Retention Study.

Living on campus is not only more convenient than living off campus, but also provides professional staff support and guidance that off-campus living cannot provide. Residence hall students can also take advantage of academic activities such as Study Stops, where free tutoring is available.
