Teams
There are many ways for students to gather people for a team. Popular and easy options are: Residence Hall floors, Greek chapters, student clubs & organizations (RSOs), and groups of friends.
Don’t have enough players to form a whole team or don’t have a team at all? No worries! In the Intramural Sports office, you can register as a “Free Agent” and we’ll match you with other free agents to fill out a team. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet other students.
Leagues
Each activity is divided into various leagues: Women’s, Men’s, Co-Rec, and/or Open. When multiple leagues are offered, students can play on one gender-specific team and one co-rec team per sport per season.
Divisions
Although all leagues are considered recreational, teams can choose to a division they feel most comfortable.
“A” Division = I play well and enjoy competition.
“B” Division = I’ve played before and enjoy the spirit of the game and camaraderie of friends.
“C” Division = I’ve never played before and I want to learn and have fun with friends.
Get Started Before Arriving on Campus
Each participant must have an IMLeagues.com profile before they can register for any activity or form a team. NOTE: This only registers the player profile.
Students will need to visit the Intramural Sports office inside the Campus Rec Center to sign up & pay for a specific activity/league.
Follow these easy steps...
1. Start here: http://go.unl.edu/imleagues
2. Click the IMLeagues logo
3. Login to your My.UNL account.
- this opens the UNL IMLeagues portal
4. Enter your personal profile info.
5. Click the “Complete” button.
6. You can skip the Rec-It app page.
7. Now you can register for an activity in the Intramural Sports office once you arrive on campus.
