University Dining Services has rolled out an update to the UNL Dining Menu app.
Users can now receive general notifications, favorite items, receive a notification for a favorite item and view nutritional information of menu items.
The app, which has been available for over a year, will also notify users when large groups are going through a dining center.
"It's very helpful when large groups like Red Letter Days are going through a specific dining center," said Shari Rosso, assistant director of Marketing and Communications at University Housing. "The app will notify you that there may be longer wait times." Users can also favorite a specific dining center that they visit most frequently.
The UNL Dining Services app, available for free in both the iTunes and Google stores, includes information about what specific foods are being served in University Housing's dining centers, grab-n-go locations, and dining hall hours. Users also have the opportunity to provide feedback through the app.
