New University Health Center building opens July 16

The University Health Center is excited to announce the opening of its new building at 550 N. 19th St.

Beginning at 8 a.m. July 16, all medical, counseling, dental and pharmacy services will be provided at the new location. To learn more about its features and for frequently asked questions, visit https://health.unl.edu/newbuilding.

Have your student mark their calendar to attend the University Health Center Open House Aug. 29 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. At the event, students can tour the building, learn more about services, meet providers and enjoy free food, music, prizes and more.

The health center will close its 1500 U St. location at 5 p.m., July 11 for the move to the new building. During this time, students should call 911 for medical or mental health emergencies. For urgent concerns, students can call 402.472.5000 to speak with a nurse or therapist on call. There may be a short time when the telephone lines are switched over to the new system and are unavailable. If this happens, students can contact the nearest:
