The Apiary is a statewide cohort of students and community leaders. Our communities work best when people make their priorities heard. Nebraskans have more in common with one another than we often hear. Every community has unique voices and things that matter to them most.
Apiary members will work on a self-designed project that’s rooted in their community to increase civic participation.
One year cohort (December 2025 - December 2026).
$599 stipend, $250 professional development fund, travel and meals paid.
Work alongside your neighbors to create a positive local impact.
Build skills to understand state and local policy.
Attend monthly meetings to connect and collaborate with other Apiary participants statewide. Nominations are open until October 31, 2025. Cohort members will be selected by November 14, 2025. The cohort’s first in-person convening is on December 6, 2025.
