Applications are now open for this fully funded, two-week program, which will be held from May 18th - May 29th, 2026. Hosted by the Henry Clay Center, a nonpartisan nonprofit, the program will take place at both the University of Kentucky and American University, offering students the chance to experience Lexington, Kentucky, and Washington, DC.
The 17th annual College Student Congress is a transformative program designed to cultivate essential leadership skills for future leaders in public policy, politics, diplomacy, and contemporary leadership. This immersive experience selects fifty-one rising college seniors, one from each state and the District of Columbia, to explore the dynamics of the policy process. Students will engage with lawmakers, academics, government relations experts, policy advisors, and other leaders, gaining firsthand experience in the challenges of formulating comprehensive public policy.
Each selected student will receive a full scholarship covering transportation, housing, meals, and program materials, making this a truly remarkable, fully funded opportunity for both academic and professional growth.
