There are alot of resources available on campus to support you through finals week. And the Well-Being Collective has resources to ensure you are taking care of yourself these next few weeks. Spring Course Spotlight - POLS 492 Special Topics - Healthcare Law and Policy

This course introduces students to legal and regulatory structures that govern healthcare delivery and public health in the United States. The course primarily focuses on the law as it relates to the the relationship between providers and patients, and it covers topics like organ transplantation, advances in biotechnology, reproductive health, the right to die, and the limited right to receive care. Emphasizing the interaction between individual rights and collective health responsibilities, the course uses case studies to analyze how the law mediates (or exacerbates) tensions among patients, providers and policymakers in a the rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
