The Animal Behavior and Welfare Club is focused on providing knowledge and resources for students to properly care for animals in their current and future endeavors. This is achieved through monthly meetings (Wednesdays at 7:00, Room A222 in the Animal Sciences building). There are additional opportunities through the club, such as the Animal Welfare Judging Team.
A wide range of animals are covered, including but not limited to, companion animals, livestock, and animals in zoos. As the general public becomes increasingly interested in and concerned about animal welfare, we aim to help prepare students for their futures with knowledge related to animal welfare across sectors of the animal industry.
