Family Service Lincoln is a local non-profit hiring spring interns to work with their before/after school programs for K-5th grade students. This paid internship is from January 6-May 20.
Interns gain experience in executing lesson plans, behavior modification, active supervision, leading groups, speaking to families, and having fun with students through play. Inters receive training in CPR/First Aid, understanding Child Abuse and Neglect, Classroom Management, Challenging Behaviors, and more. Additional opportunities for professional development are provided (like attending a Family Service Lincoln board meeting, sitting in on a principal and or parent meeting, or shadowing School Community Coordinators).
