Mock Interviews

Representatives from the Explore Center and Career Services will be available to conduct virtual practice interviews for admission into professional health programs. These mock interviews simulate a 1:1 interview. In Person interviews will be conducted in the NE Union, Room 225. For virtual interviews, you will receive a Zoom link from your interviewer before your scheduled mock interview. Choose the date that works best for your schedule!

GRE Preparation for Health School Applications

If the GRE is required for admission to your professional health program, join us for a one-hour overview of the exam. We will cover the format of the GRE, outline timelines for studying for and taking the exam, and share helpful resources and advice on preparing to take the GRE.
The Princeton Review – Study Resources for Pre-Health students
One of our current Pre-Health students is an ambassador for The Princeton Review, and has offered to make some study resources available for any students who are preparing for the MCAT or GRE. Pre-Med Enrichment Program (PREP) – UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine
PREP is a free 6-week intensive summer program for educationally and economically disadvantaged 3rd and 4th-year undergraduates, community college students, and recent graduates that are interested in strengthening their readiness to study medicine. Scholars engage in personal and professional development to enhance their passion for medicine and develop a community of peers to support them along the journey. UNMC Dentistry Simulation Clinic
Experience a day in the life of a dental student! UNMC Dentistry is hosting a simulation day for all students interested in dentistry. Students will gain hands on experience in some dental procedures, tour the dental school, participate in a Q&A session with current dental students, and more! Lunch will be provided. The cost for the clinic is $150, and there are a few full sponsorships available. Registration must be submitted by March 1, 2026. See attached flyer for more information!
