How long have you been at your institution?

I arrived here in Lincoln on August 21.

Who is your favorite STEM character in a book, movie or TV show?

My favorite character who won the Fields medal in mathematics is the late Maryam Mirzakhani.

What skills or knowledge are you learning throughout the program that you find most useful in your career?

I can point to, for example, qualitative and quantitative research methods for conducting research, psychological factors in teaching and learning list can go on. I had always a consuming interest in having a mathematics mind.

What advice would you give to students who transfer from 2YC to 4YC?

I do suggest they study studiously as if right tomorrow they are going to be a professor and then a scientist.

Is your involvement in S-STEM work worthwhile to your graduate school/professional journey? If so, please elaborate.

Personally, I am of the opinion that people should not have a one-dimensional life. This journey would be definitely a good experience that would sprout out in my future academic life.

What skill do you think is most valuable for students considering a STEM career?

I take the view that computational skills and having hands on computer skills are two significant factors.
