In PROSPECT, we’ve explored diverse approaches to data analysis, including poetic transcription. This featured piece was created from data collected during our visit to PRISM, a partnership among Augsburg University, Century College, and Minneapolis College.
“In a way, it was really
encouraging”
Being able to conduct research
gave me an idea
of what to expect in grad school.
Being able to analyze results,
compare experiments,
follow protocols,
fail,
and learn from that failure,
was …
in a way, it was really
encouraging.
It's opened
doors for me in multifaceted ways
I think after having conducted that research,
present it,
and all that,
I think it better guided me
so that I knew what I liked
and did not like
about specific field
and sciences.
The fact that I have had these experiences,
the fact that I've had knowledge
in that specific area,
has allowed me
to broaden my horizons
And so that’s a big push
as much like summer research positions,
internships as possible
I’m really,
really passionate
about research
I didn’t want to give up research.
