If your RSO is planning to host an in-person event with 50 or more attendees, please submit these requests as soon as possible to ensure they are promptly reviewed. Make sure to check your email for updates.

Events of 50 or more in person attendees (students, faculty, staff, visitors/guests) organized, hosted or sponsored by the University must have their respective Vice Chancellor’s Office approval and have filed an Event Risk Assessment with the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance prior to the date of the event. RSOs must comply to this policy for events on or off campus. Additional details: https://covid19.unl.edu/facilities-events#event-guidelines

Events with 50 or more in person attendees will need to be approved through this process at least 7 days in advance. Event coordinators should expect 10-14 days for processing. Submit early! This event approval is in addition to your EPR.

RSOs should note: All approvals for your events must be sent to Veronica Riepe, Director of Student Involvement and Debra Hendricks, Designee for the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs. Greek chapters should send their requests to Leigh Thiedeman & Debra Hendricks. See additional information here: https://go.unl.edu/fkj4
