Happy New Year 2023! January is an incredible time for leadership in RSOs. While many of you are returning to your roles, several of you are new to your position having just been elected fresh from end-of-Fall elections. There are still a few days left of our winter recess and as you enjoy your finals moments of rest and relaxation, focus on these ten steps for Spring 2023 success:
1. Sign Up for Spring Club Fair.
2. Check in with your members to ensure they are ready for spring.
3. Update rosters- some of your members may have just graduated.
4. RSO leadership is hard work, make plans for personal self-care for you and your RSO officers.
5. Review budgets.
6. Set semester/term goals (Check our article on Maximizing your Spring.
7. Prepare for GLOW BIG RED-one of the EASIEST ways to get alumni and donors to give back to your RSO.
8. Check in with your RSO Advisor- they’ve missed you!
9. Prepare for your first meeting of the semester.
10. Check to make sure your RSO is in compliance!
