Re-Registration Updates: Thank You for Your Patience

Re-Registration Updates
Re-Registration Updates

We've been working diligently to process RSO re-registrations for the summer to prepare for the fall. We understand there have been delays, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we address these issues. The Fall RSO group represents 54% of our RSO community, and we’re committed to getting everyone ready as soon as possible.

Important Reminders:
• Right now, we are actively focused on Fall RSOs- those organizations that run on an academic year and recently held elections in late April, May and June.
• The deadline for Fall RSO compliance is Sunday, June 30th, 2024.

Fall RSOs and Other Re-registering Organizations:

Steps to Complete RSO Re-Registration

1. Re-Registration Submissions:

• Submit your re-registration through your RSO portal on NvolveU. This serves as the official notification to SLICE for officer updates.
• We will verify that each incoming President, Treasurer, and Primary Programmer has completed and passed Annual Orientation.
• A significant number of organizations are missing this step, causing delays. We first check for re-registration and then verify Annual Orientation completion.

2. Process Completion:

• Positions in each RSO’s portal will only be updated once both re-registration and Annual Orientation are complete.
• All three officers must complete and pass Annual Orientation.

Important Note:
• When completing Annual Orientation, officers must use the organization’s official name as registered with the SLICE Office and on NvolveU. Submissions are categorized by name.
• Mismatched names between re-registration and Annual Orientation submissions will result in delays. For example, if the RSO is registered as “The Herbie Husker Fan Club,” it must be submitted exactly as such. Delays occur from variations like “Herbie Husker Fan Club,” “HHFC,” or “UNL Herbie Husker Fan Club.”

If your organization has an urgent need to prioritize your re-registration (e.g., SOFS request, EPR submission), please email us at involved@unl.edu .

Thank you to the many Fall RSOs who have proactively submitted their re-registration information and completed Annual Orientations for new officers.
