Last week, our Instagram page @involvedunl highlighted another RSO: The Creative Commons!

Creative Commons is is an RSO affiliated with the college of Fine and Performing Arts that focuses on cultivating a community for creative students. Throughout the year they invite working artists to talk about their career development in the artistic world. They host workshops and provide opportunities to work with various mediums and software, like Adobe Photoshop and screenprinting. Every year they provide members with the opportunity to have their work published in out annual zine and showing their work in our annual gallery!

"Creative Commons' goal is to uphold the values of create, grow, and connect by promoting student voices through artwork and professional development opportunities. We are committed to cultivating a supportive and diverse group of creatives, and offering engagement, education, and exhibition opportunities."

Interested? Their next meeting is Tuesday, October 29th from 5-6pm in Room 106 of Richards Hall. Here, they will be hosting an interactive panel with art graduate students talking about why they create, and how to navigate graduate school!
