SLICE is sponsoring a social media video contest promoting blood donation. All active RSOs are eligible to enter one video in the contest. Video submissions should include:

• Name or logo of your RSO
• No longer than 90 seconds
• Size & dimension: 1080 x 1350 pixels
• Format: mp4
• Resolution: HD or 1080p
• Set up: Vertical/portrait
• Images or music must be within the public domain and not under copyright
• This link https://huskers.com/giveblood should be in the video
• People in the video are encouraged to wear Husker gear and minimize the use of other trademarks

Videos should highlight how to donate, how to record donations in the Abbott We Give Blood Challenge or where to sign up to donate blood at a campus blood drive which is all found on the above website.

The goal of the video is to encourage viewers to donate blood and support Nebraska’s efforts to win the We Give Blood Challenge sponsored by Abbott. Videos will be judged based on the above specifications as well as creativity, messaging, visual appeal and Husker pride. The 1st place video will receive $500, 2nd place $250, and 3rd place $100 for their RSO. The winning videos will be shared with the University of Nebraska and Abbott marketing teams with the hope they will be shared on their platforms.
