Save South Sudan Orphans and Widows Project Meeting

Our mission is to provide Orphans and Widows in South Sudan with clean water, mosquito nets, base education, and sustainable food. The goal is to bring hope to orphans and widows that are affected by war. Health care will reduce the number of orphans and widows that die every year because of the malaria, water borne diseases such as diarrhea, hepatitis A and E, and typhoid fever, and yellow fever as well as many diseases that are caused by malnutrition. Providing insecticide treated nets and food would reduce deaths and improve the quality of life. Education; orphans and widows would be provided with base education to help prepare them for future jobs that they may have otherwise been unqualified for. They would be provided with basic farming skills. Water; as we all know water is everything essential to life. Drinking unclean water and not having access to clean water is life threatening. Finding a way to provide clean drinking water is an essential part of this project. The meeting will be on Thursday October 24 at 5pm at the City Campus Union.
