Big Red Welcome Revamp
In the past, Big Red Welcome events have been predominantly the weekend before school starts and the first week of school focusing on large events targeted to all new students. These events include the New Student Convocation, Tunnel Walk, Husker Mania, Party at the Union, and the Street Festival among others. This year Big Red Welcome is being extended to include all events held in the first six weeks of the fall semester. We hope that your RSO will consider submitting a Big Red Welcome event(s) within the first six weeks of the fall semester. This could include your first RSO meeting or any other welcome activity you may be planning. It is our hope that all new students will find an event that appeals to them and engage with a department within the first six weeks of the fall semester.
