Show off your cooking skills, learn how to cook better meals, or help reduce food insecurity on campus at Chopped hosted by Campus Nightlife on March 10th. Those who are culinary inclined put your cooking skills to the test in our competition. For those who want to gain some cooking skills come learn from professional chefs. For those wishing to compete in this competition it will be very similar to the TV series Chopped. Each team will be given the same ingredients, unknown to them, before the start of each round. The teams will have to quickly decide what to cook with the given ingredients and prepare the food. Contestants will be cooking dishes during the event to be judged by our panel of judges based on presentation, creativity, and taste. Sign up, with a teammate, using the url on the promotional flier. For those students who would rather learn more about cooking come and listen to professional demonstrations on how to be a better personal chef. There will also be information on how to cook better meals while shopping on a budget, as most college students must do. Lastly, this event will serve as a food drive for the on campus food bank, Open Shelf. Please bring nonperishable foods to the even to stock our campus food bank and reduce food insecurity of our fellow students on campus.
