The Lincoln Fantasy & Science Fiction club proudly presents Cory McAbee's "The American Astronaut". Join LFSF as they celebrate their 25th anniversary as an RSO at UNL with this special film screening! This event is FREE and is open to students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends, and the general public.

Film Synopsis: "'The American Astronaut' is a 2001 space-western, directed by and starring Cory McAbee. Space travel has become a dirty way of life dominated by derelicts, grease monkeys, thieves, and hard-boiled interplanetary traders such as Samuel Curtis, an astronaut from Earth who deals in a rare goods, living or otherwise. In this odd mixture between old western and old science fiction, Samuel Curtis sets forth through a rustic and remote solar system, unaware that his old friend Professor Hess is trying to kill him."
